New hire onboarding spreadsheet template
One row is one person starting, and everything payroll and IT need on day one. Recruiters, hiring managers, and staffing agencies, each with their own column names and their own idea of what a date looks like.

What this sheet refuses to accept
“8/4/26” is read consistently across the whole column rather than a month here and a day there, and an impossible date like 31/02 is refused.
A work email that is missing an @, or that duplicates someone already in the sheet, stops before it reaches your identity provider.
A department typed as “Eng” instead of “Engineering” is rejected once, and after you correct it the sheet applies that fix to every later file.
